“ We Had breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was mostly full but there was no wait for a table. The service and atmosphere was great. I had the Tamales and Huevos (scrambled) with pancakes. The fresh made salsa verde and pico de gallo were outstanding. The Wifey had Waffles and Ice Cream with everything on the side. All very fresh and delivered exactly the way she requested. We both had coffee. One of the entrees was the Sarkis Special, which brought back fond memories of eating at this outstanding double-wide trailer diner on the border of Evanston and wilmette. I almost ordered it but the breakfast tamales were too tempting. They had other tempting ideas for breakfast too, like the stuffed potato pancake. Maybe next time? The food was delicious, the waitress was great. Our coffee cups never got close to empty. Highly recommended. ”
